Sixth National Meeting
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) held the Sixth National Meeting for the NBCP from May 2 through May 4, 2016, in Annapolis, Maryland. The goals of the meeting were to educate NBCP grantee States on how to improve their background check programs for long term care (LTC) providers and facilities through information sharing and to provide information to non-participating States interested in establishing LTC background check programs. Presenters included the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Inspector General (OIG), CMS and specific technical presentations from CNA.
Links to individual presentations and biographies of the guest speakers are available from the agenda on this page. In addition, a bundled PDF with all the presentations is available for download.
