Grant Solicitation

In June 2010, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) invited States and Territories to submit grant proposals for the National Background Check Program, making Federal matching funds available to those that applied to CMS and met the program requirements. The final grant solicitation closed on December 15, 2017.
